How to experience Varanasi - The Spiritual Hub of India
Wherever you are coming from, try to get down at Varanasi Junction Railway Station (BSB). If this is not possible, get down at Varanasi City Railway Station (BCY), the other railway station of Kashi. This will make it easy and convenient for you to reach most of the attractions. Because Varanasi Junction Railway Station (BSB) is the nearest station to reach Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The distance between the two is about 4.4 km if you travel via Sant Kabir Road, which is the shortest route. For a traditional and complete pilgrimage experience in Varanasi, the recommended order is:- Ganga Snan
- Kaal Bhairava Darshan
- Lord Shiva (Kashi Vishwanath) Darshan
- Annapurna Temple Darshan
- Mahalakshmi Mandir Darshan
Railway Stations in Varanasi
Varanasi is well-connected by rail for travelers across India. Varanasi Junction (BSB) is the primary station, linking the city to major Indian metropolises. Other important stations include Banaras Railway Station (BSBS) (formerly Manduadih) and Varanasi City (BCY), offering additional convenient access points. For some long-distance routes, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction (DDU), just outside Varanasi, is also a crucial interchange.
